There has been a stigma haunting Refurbished Computers for many a years, people seem to think refurbished means "second-hand". While that is partially true, a refurbished PC or laptop isn't the same as one bought from cash converters or a pawn shop. Branch Computers are proud of our Microsoft Registered Refurbisher accreditation, we have to take difficult tests online that make sure each of our technicians understand the rules in regards to licensing reconditioned computers. We take this very seriously.
But there is more to this than just slapping on a refurbished OEM license. Each and everyone of our refurbished systems goes through a strict process. Starting with a long hardware stress test, we then isolate any faulty components and change them for new parts. We then swap out and destroy any existing hard drives and swap for a new SSD (upto 10x Faster than a standard hard drive). Once we are happy that the system is optimal in terms of hardware performance and reliability, we painstakingly clean the inside and outside of the unit, removing all dirt and residue. Then comes our grading process, we tend to only sell Grade B and above, which means you are getting a next to new desktop or laptop at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
Our thorough restoration and grading process can bring new life into pre-owned desktops and laptops.
